Bicycle and Pedestrian Projects  Under Construction

Downtown Bicycle Improvements: installing bike lanes and improvements in the downtown loop. This project is 90 percent complete.

Martin Luther King Jr. Way: installing bike lanes, sidewalks, and street trees near the WSU campus. This project is under construction.

Projects in the planning or design stage

Hatch Rd. from 43rd to 57th avenues: street repair and installation of bike lanes. This project is complete. 

Historic Iron Bridge: convert a railroad bridge into a pedestrian/bike bridge. This project will start later this spring.

Fish Lake Trail Phase III: this project will compete the multi-use trail between the City of Spokane and Cheney.

Division St. Gateway: indentification of streetscape, gateway, and transportation improvements in the downtown core.

Centennial Trail: bridge the gap between Kendall Yards to Boone Ave. and Summit Blvd.

Shared Use Path: connect the Centennial Trail to the Ben Burr Trail.

University District Pedestrian/Bike Bridge: type, size, and location study.
